Kirsty is a 3rd year nursing student who came to us just 10 weeks ago for specialist study skills support, often referred to as “dyslexia / dyspraxia support” or accessing a “SpLD tutor” – Specific Learning Difficulties tutor.

I had a very enjoyable afternoon yesterday (Thursday, 27th March) at the British Dyslexia Association Conference. The conference theme of the impact of innovation was an ideal way to showcase the projects I have been part of with Jane Wray, research fellow in the Faculty of Health and Social Care at the University of Hull.

The team at Diverse Learners strongly believe that utilising technology is, for many learners, the gateway to increased productivity, empowerment and independence, which in turn results in increased confidence and self-belief.
